Father~ you are the Lord of the Harvest and we thank you for this beautful season to glory in your handiwork. May we take the time to enjoy the brilliant color palates, the crisp freshness in the air and see your love in all those around us. by L. Hollinger
We are a Christian support group of “likeminded” women that meet monthly to strengthen our Proverbs 31 resolve and fulfill our Titus 2:5 mandate.
This class was also created for daughters who choose to become "Keepers At Home" by creating a supportive environment with sound training while encouraging strong biblical character in their noble calling. The Titus 2 wives share wisdom they have learned from many years of experience which the younger woman greatly benefit from.
These ladies have a teachable heart and a gracious spirit. With humility they regard one another as more important than themselves as Christ taught us in Phillipians 2:2-3. This verse has become our theme for the year.We had a very refreshing time as we took a nature walk to the Wheelers barn and covered many subjects. While we walked, we practiced conversational etiquette which is a very important topic that we hope to share more in future classes. Our theme was a “Harvest Apple Tea” and we thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of Gods creations with all the brilliant colors and the fresh mountain air.

It was an absolutely perfect day as Mrs. Wheeler (assisted by her daughter Miss Alexa) taught us excellence in nutrition through the properties of raw goats milk. We enjoyed fresh homemade yogart, sanitized raw milk and learned how to produce the highest probiotic quality with the greatest health values. We had a teaching on how to wisely keep our priorities as women, homebased business and an introduction to homeschooling biblically. For some, this was the first time they ever milked a goat as Miss Megan Wheeler shared the various aspects of animal management that could be applie
d to other types of enterprises. We enjoyed a beautiful golden day with sweet fellowship and made new friendships. The ladies brought homemade delights of hot apple cider, cinnamon monkey bread, maple leaf cookies and fresh apples with a creamy dip to celebrate the tastes of the season.
We look forward to next months gathering as we join hearts, godly wisdom and skills to be all we can be
for the glory of God.
